Does My Boyfriend Still Love Me

If your relationship is on the rocks and you are wondering, "does my boyfriend still love me?", this is the million dollar question, isn't it? When things are not going well in any relationship it is very easy to let all of our insecurities boil up to the surface and rear their ugly heads.

The best way to find the answer to "does my boyfriend still love me" is to ask him straight out. Try to prepare for the possibility that he does not. If he answers you that he no longer loves you then ask him to explain himself. Some relationships just do not last and your's could be one of them.

If he says he does still love you then there are probably aspects of your relationship that need some work.

Figure out what made you start feeling he didn't love you. Is he spending more time away from you? Why? Is he working a lot or does he have family obligations that take up much of his time? I guess it doesn't matter what the reasons are, the result is you feel lonesome and unloved.

It is obvious to me that if he still loves you, your relationship needs some serious tie and attention to get back on the right track. The best way to begin is to learn to communicate better. Talk to him and see if he feels the same way. If he does then ask him if he is willing to do whatever it takes to make the relationship better.

Do not, under any circumstances make demands on him and do not let him make any demands on you. If you work together as a team your relationship will have a much better chance of survival. If he agrees that the relationship needs work then you can both go talk to someone who is experienced in the art of putting relationships back together.

That may be your pastor, or a trusted teacher, or someone who has been through the same things you are going through now, or a professional counselor. Who you decide to talk to is up to you and your budget. You can even get advice online. Some of it is even free.

Before you decide to talk to anyone though, it would be a good idea to sit down together and figure out what the problems are. The best way to do this is to sit down when all is quiet and both take a sheet of paper and pen and make your own lists. When you are done go over them both together and see if things match up or if there are differing opinions as to what is wrong.

Try to work things out together. if you can, great! If you can't then it would be the time to speak to someone outside of the relationship and get some advice. After all of this work, if you are still wondering, "does my boyfriend still love me" then maybe the relationship is beyond repair.

Dealing With Break Up

Dealing with break up is a very difficult thing to do. After all a break up involves that relationship you worked at crashing and burning and you losing the love of your life. So dealing with that can be a very difficult affair.

You might be left sitting there having no idea what you should do. Your emotions are running amok and you are generally just lost. But you do not have to stay this way. There are a multitude of ways for dealing with a break up.

While not every method works for everybody, there are some common tips to help you get through your break up. Even if one does not work, and does not help alleviate the pain, you should keep trying until you find one that does work for you.

1. Hang with friends. Friends are your pillars of support during times such as these. They are there for you, lending a shoulder for you to lean on. Talk with them about your troubles and go out with them to have fun.

They say laughter is the best medicine and that holds true for break ups as well. Go out for a night on the town with your buddies. Have a good time and forget all about your relationship troubles. This is a great way for dealing with break up.

2. Get active. A problem many people face after a break up is they get lethargic and just mope around all day every day. That is not only unhealthy, but it forces you to dwell on the negative emotions of the break up. Instead of doing that, try to get active.

Go to the gym or go for a bike ride. This not only helps distract you from your relationship problems, but it can also help you get in shape, or stay in shape. It does not necessarily have to be some extremely physical activity either.

The main focus is to keep your mind occupied so you do not have time to dwell on your recent break up. So picking up a hobby or going back to school are also great ways to occupy your time and forget all about the troubles you are facing.

3. Remain positive. Positivity is important. It can help you see the world in a better light and improve your mood. Some people believe that positivity also influences the world around you. So if you remain positive good things might just go your way. And even if that is not the case, at the very least you are happier then if you had stayed sulking and being negative.

Dealing with break up is never easy, and despite everybody going through it we still have yet to find any concrete methods for helping us get past the pain. However we have gotten some pretty good ideas along the way and even if these tips do not help you, there are countless more for you to try.

In the end, a break up is not the end of your life. It may hurt now but time heals all wounds and some day you will find the love of your life and be happy again.

Dating Your Neighbor Set Ground Rules In The Beginning

She is the new, single neighbor and you have been divorced for a year and are contemplating re-entering the dating scene and thought you might start by dating your neighbor. Believe it or not this may not be as easy as it sounds. Difficulties and challenges may arise that would not in any other relationship. Of course, there are obvious perks to the situation, too.

Being so close to the object of your affection makes it easy to see them. No driving means you get to save money on gas and wear and tear on your car. All you have to do is hop the fence when you want to see them. Convenient, huh? This could backfire though so be very careful you do not turn this dating into stalking or into peeping. Both could get you arrested.

Then again, if you have an argument things might get a little uncomfortable for the two of you having to see each other constantly over that fence. It would be best to concentrate on those things that you two may have in common before finding things to argue about. Save the arguments for somewhere down the road. No sense in ruining a good thing before it even gets off the ground.

In another scenario, if you have been neighbors for some time then you may have some of the same friends and been at some of the same parties. Maybe that is where the thought originated that maybe you wouldn't mind dating your neighbor. If you do know each other then your first date together should be fairly stress free and should sail along smoothly. Or, maybe the two of you will be so nervous you will feel like teenagers again on a first date.

You two are neighbors, you are bound to see what goes on from time to time and privacy may be at a minimum unless great strides are taken to create that privacy. Not only will the two of you get a pretty good idea of what the other is doing but your other neighbors are bound to see the two of you spending time together and although your neighbors may not be as nosy as the ones on Wisteria Lane they will no doubt want to hear the details of the budding romance at some point. Explain things only when you are ready, let them all speculate about what is really going on all they want to.

Dating Service Names

When you join an online dating site to find either that "perfect" someone or just that "let's have fun and see where it goes" someone, one of the most important elements is your profile. This will either attract or repel potential partners so you should spend some time on it. One thing to take some time on is what dating service names you want to use as your profile name.

There are many schools of thought on this, some say you should use something clever, others opt for a "cute" name and still others opt for dating service names that have a very sexual sound to them.

It's up to you and what you hope to accomplish online. If you set up an ultra sexy screen name, for example, you may not attract those people who are looking for a more serious, long term relationship.

You don't want potential mates to shy away because they think the only thing you are looking for is a little fun when in reality you want to find someone to settle down with. Try to think of how your name will sound to others and what kind of message it may send.

One thing you don't want to do is use your full, real, name. This is simply a security issue. What you can do is use a derivative of your name combined with some aspect of your life.

So, if your name is Dave and you are a lawyer you might use the screen name LegalDave, LawyerDave, or AttorneyDave.

You can do the same thing and combine your name with a hobby that you enjoy. If you play basketball you might be BBallDave.

One note, you should capitalize the first letter of all the separate words in your name like I did in the above examples.

Just compare how much easier BBallDave is to read than if I wrote it bballdave.

By capitalizing the first letter of each word you help it stand out and it makes it so much easier to read and much harder to misinterpret. After all, you've spent a little time coming up with an interesting name, you don't want people to not be able to read or understand it, do you?

Dating Men With Children More Common Men Getting Full Custody

If you are older and are re-entering the dating scene you may find you will be dating men with children. This is more and more commonplace these days, men getting awarded full custody or at least joint custody so they will have their children half of the time. This may seem like a complicated situation but it does not have to be. If you and he handle it correctly then the transition should go just fine.

The fact that he has children should be one of the first things on the list of thing to discuss when you first meet. This is not something he should hold back. If he does then you need to reconsider dating this man. His kids should come first and if he hides them from you and the world this could be a problem.

Talk to him and try to get a sense of the relationship he has with his children. Is he involved with them and their school activities, sports, and other interests? If he is truly concerned for their welfare then he is a good man and you can probably trust him with your own feelings.

Then, do a little self-analyzation. Are you capable of handling this type of relationship situation? You will be spending time with his children. Maybe not at first but at some point you will be. If they are young children then it probably will not matter if Daddy's friend comes over for dinner in the beginning but if they are a little older then they may feel some resentment toward anyone new in their father's life.

So, what's the answer here? The answer is to be patient and let things unfold naturally. Do not try to force them to like you because they won't. Children can be difficult and need to be handled with, pardon the expression, kid gloves. During this 'get to know you' period they will be relentless in trying to get rid of you. They will test you and if you fail their tests they will then go 'tattle on you' to their father.

Dating A Woman With Kids There are plenty of things that can make dating interesting, and dating a woman with kids is no exception. While the main focus of your relationship, especially at first, will be you and her, there is no question that her children will play a role. Something to keep in mind is that single mothers typically have a harder time finding dates, or even dating at all. That doesn't necessarily mean that they are more desperate, but it does mean that they tend to be more appreciative of opportunities to go out on a date. A lot of guys think that dating a woman with kids is a bad idea, and some refuse to do so. That's a good thing for you because it gives you the chance to meet some wonderful women who other men choose to ignore to their own loss. But kids alone shouldn't be the determining factor in who you are dating. It would be rather shallow to not go out with someone that is smart, funny and attractive just because they have children. Of course there are some things that will be different, but they don't need to be a deal breaker. The biggest difference is that her kids can and should come first. So, if one of her children has a soccer game on Friday night and that's when you would like to take her out to dinner, you can be sure that she is going to watch her kid kick a ball around. That won't always happen, and she will have some free time, but just keep in mind that her kids are her priority. There is a fairly obvious solution to these situations. You could--to continue with the previously example--make the soccer game the date and then go out for dinner afterwards. A lot of times the team will go out to dinner on their own and will be able to enjoy some alone time. However, if you want to show her that you care for her and her kids, then you could offer to take her and the kids out to eat after the game. In theory you are only dating the woman, but you also have to make a positive impression on her kids when the time comes. While you're not dating the kids, how they feel about you will be important to the woman you're dating. Don't worry about this happening right away because chances are high that she will want to get to know you first before introducing her children to you. With all of that being said, dating a woman with kids is a lot like dating a woman without kids. She still has the same needs and wants to have a good time. If you can provide her that good time and her kids happen to like you, then you will find that you are in a special and worthwhile relationship.

Cute Valentines Ideas For A Boyfriend

Valentine's Day only comes once a year and so when it comes you want to make it special. You do not have any control over what your boyfriend buys or makes for you but you do have control over what cute valentines ideas for a boyfriend you choose.

There are a lot of things you can choose to give as gifts for Valentine's Day. You could choose the time honored tradition of making a romantic dinner with wine and candlelight. This is the traditional way to express your feelings and show off your "talents", but it might be worth it to try something different every now and then. Here are some cute valentines ideas for a boyfriend.

The most important thing to keep in mind when giving any gift to anyone is to make sure it fits whoever you are giving it to. I remember once, a guy I was with got me a music CD for a gift. I liked this singer well enough, but this CD was not something I would have ever bought for myself. I was very disappointed in this gift because I thought this guy knew me pretty well and it turns out he didn't know me at all.

Do not make this mistake. Make sure that you put some thought into the valentine's gift you get your boyfriend. Make sure it shows him that you care enough to really know him and get something that he likes.

If you have been together for a while and jewelry is not out of the question get him something that can be engraved. A ring or an ID bracelet would be a great idea. Even everyday things such as money clips, pens, or letter openers are good ideas. If it is something that he uses every day, every time he takes it out or wears it he will think of you.
